A graduate of Stanford University, Levesque finished his collegiate career among the best in Cardinal soccer history. Levesque played in 76 matches, placing him ninth in most games played. He also scored 29 goals and tallied 88 points, both sixth best all-time. Levesque received numerous awards and honors throughout his collegiate career. In his senior season he was a Third Team All-American by NSCAA/Adidas, a First Team NSCAA/Adidas All-Far West selection, a First Team All-Pac-10 member and named to the All-Tournament Team at the NCAA College Cup. In 2001 Levesque was chosen as a NSCAA Second Team All American and was voted the Pac-10 Player of the Year as well as the Stanford Pac-10 Conference Male Athlete of the Year. First loaned to the Sounders near the end of the 2003 season from the MLS San Jose Earthquakes; Levesque scored two goals in the season's final six matches to help the Sounders make a play off push late in the year. Loaned to the Sounders again the following season, Levesque scored eight goals during the regular season helping the Sounders pursue the 2004 A-League Western Conference Championship. As the Seattle Sounders leading scorer in 2005, Forward Roger Levesque netted 10 total goals and added three assists for 23 points. Scoring 16 regular season goals in just over two seasons, Levesque has developed into one of the best and hardest working forwards in the USL. Roger Levesque has proven himself as a solid player, an excellent steward of the game, and is well respected by his peers, colleagues and Coaches.
